The Waterfront, Stavanger, Norway

The Waterfront residential project by AART Architects won the WORLD Architecture News Residential Award in 2015 and was also selected as “Best on Archilovers 2015”.

Over the past few years, the naturally aged grey tone of the thermally modified pine has become part of the design which mimics Norway’s mountainous and highly contrastive natural landscape.

Material: Thermally modified pine decking, cladding and roofing.
