Private sauna, Estonia

This cozy little home spa area in a private house in Estonia opens up towards the garden with a direct access to the terrace, allowing for those perfect refreshing moments on the terrace between sauna sessions.

The sauna walls are covered with thermo-aspen paneling and the lightweight, airy looking seats are also made out of thermo-aspen. One of the key benefits of using thermo treated wood in your sauna is the fact that thermowood benches and panels don’t get as hot as unmodified wood does. Thermo treated wood also absorbs much less moisture, has a reduced risk of mildew and it lasts longer.
