Felleskjøpet Agri headquarters, Lillestrøm, Norway

Leading Norwegian architectural firm Snøhetta was retained by agricultural supplier Felleskjøpet to design their new headquarters with a view to making a positive contribution to the surrounding area.

Snøhetta chose to integrate thermally modified pine balusters on the façade due to their weather resistance and pleasing aesthetics. The balusters were installed at different angles to represent cornfields blowing in the wind to represent the company’s role as a leading supplier to the agricultural sector.

Product: Thermally modified pine balusters
