Salto Architects specified Thermory Benchmark thermo-pine cladding with brushed surface for this new school project in northern Estonia. Several different widths of thermo-pine cladding were used in a vertical arrangement which were then treated with a dark oil. Oiling of the cladding boards means that the colour of the boards will remain as shown in the photos. If the cladding boards were not oiled then the façade would weather to a silver-grey colour.
