What is Accoya?

Accoya is a high-performance, sustainably sourced clear pine (Radiata pine) modified through a non-toxic acetylation process (using acetic anhydride, like vinegar) to become extremely durable, stable, and rot-resistant. Accoya outperforms tropical hardwoods and requires minimal maintenance.

The dimensional stability of our wide board Accoya decking means that it will not shrink, warp or bend over time. Accoya modified wood is highly durable and stable so it withstands the test of any climate and is ideal for tough applications like pool decking, exterior facades and wooden shutters.
